Qualifications and Fees

Below are the qualifications and registration process mentioned for you to study medicine in the Charles University:

1. High school diploma/official transit with strong grades in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

2. Direct Entry for exceptional results in SAT, IB, or A-Levels.

3. Excellent command in English and C1 level proficiency for Czech-taught programmes. 

4. Online registration for entrance exam.

The deadline for applications for is 30th April 2026. The exams are composed of oral and written parts in Biology, Chemistry, and English. The examination is conducted offline in the Faculty and an invitation is sent beforehand via mail. You may contact the university individually for travel arrangements. A series of mini-interviews are conducted afterwards.

After completion, proceed further with your preferred medical programme. Given below is how the annual tuition fee has been distributed (EUR):

Please note due to historical events, there are now five medical faculties. However, one can apply for all with separate applications as each faculty has specific requirements and entrance exams.

While studies in Chzech is free, studies in English, French, German and Russian are subject to tuition fees ranging from 1020-6004 EUR based on their study programmes.
