Qualifications and Fees

Below are the qualifications and registration process mentioned for you to opt for LSMU medicine curriculum:

1.     High school certificate/official transit with completion of Biology and Chemistry. 

1. For English Language Proficiency, submission of credible certification like IELTS (< 5.5 points), PTE Academic (55-67 points), Academic certification confirming knowledge in English at minimum B1 Level.
2. Motivation Letter.
3. Entrance Exam of 90 minutes.

The requirements given above are to be noted by students who opt for the medical curriculum of six years at LSMU. The entrance exam is conducted online which includes Multiple-choice questions from Biology and Chemistry (30 questions each). For Psychology applicants, the test consists of questions from Biology and Mathematics (30 and 15 respectively). One can check out the test books on the school’s website to get a better understanding for preparation.

The entrance exam is conducted around March and April and later followed by an interview round. An impressive score in the UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test) and MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) may also allow exemption from the exam. A Level certification in Biology and Chemistry and IB Diploma also exempts applicants from LSMU Entrance.
