Applicants are evaluated based on their written application documents, the written exam (MCQs in biology, chemistry, and general knowledge) as well as their oral conduct. The UMFST-UMCH medical curriculum offers foundational education in all medical disciplines over the 12 semesters. The first 2 academic years cover the preclinical subjects while the latter 4 covers the clinical subjects.

The pre-clinical phase include key medical subjects like biochemical, biophysics, medical sociology, psychology and many more for students to acquire initial insights in the medical profession. A multi-week nursing internship is also conducted.
The clinical phase covers core subjects like pathology, immunology, pharmacology, neurology, and many more while conducting hospital internships at UMFST-UMCH. This helps students gain hands-on experience in small groups of ten.
Additionally, it offers two professional preparatory courses of 3 weeks and 12 weeks, covering medical, dental, veterinary, and pharmacy studies at a price of 2905 and 6813 EUR respectively.
