Dormitory Facilities

• UD has about 4,943 dormitory places, with some newer buildings and renovations.
• Facilities include: a fridge in each room, shared kitchens (conventional + microwave ovens) on each floor, laundry rooms with automatic machines, ironing rooms, common rooms, club/TV room, Internet access in all dorms.
• Rooms are typically 3-bed occupancy for many dorms, though some 2-bed may exist.

 Costs & Fees

• For the academic year 2025/2026: Dormitory fees (for some buildings with 3-bed rooms) are around HUF 40,000/month for many dorms. Some newer or more premium rooms can cost around HUF 47,600/month.
• Private accommodation outside dorms: For example, private flats in Debrecen are from around USD 340/month (or equivalent), depending on location, size & utilities.
